Urgent Care refers to quick, convenient medical treatment for illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening but require prompt attention.

Acute Injury Treatment:

  • Minor Fractures (splinting and casting)
  • Cuts/Lacerations requiring stitches
  • Sprains and Strains
  • Minor Burns and Abrasions
  • Animal and Insect Bites
Acute Illness Treatment: 
  • Cold and Flu Symptoms
  • Chest and Abdominal Pain
  • Gastrointestinal Issues (dehydration, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea)
  • Headache
  • Asthma Attacks and Minor Respiratory Care
  • Upper Respiratory Infections
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Skin Infections and Rashes
  • Eye Infections (e.g. Conjunctivitis)
  • Allergic Reactions
Minor Surgical Procedures:
  • Wound Care
  • Abscess Drainage
  • Foreign Body Removal (e.g. superficial splinters)
  • Ear Wax Removal
  • Catheter Change
  • Removal of Lumps and Bumps
 Payment Policy:
  • NO DOWNPAYMENT REQUIRED
  • Accepted methods of payment are cash, debit card, credit card and certified cheques.
  • At the conclusion of your appointment, all medical fees must be paid in full.
  • Based on your individual/company medical insurance policy, you may be required to cover the full cost for treatment then submit a claim reimbursement form to your insurance provider or you will be required to only pay for the costs not included in your coverage.
  • APH accepts Sagicor’s CariCARE and Guardian Life Health Insurance cards.
 
Operational Hours for the clinic: Mondays to Fridays (8am to 6pm); Saturdays (8am to 3pm) and Sundays (8am to 1pm)
